Is it really over for Mel Gibson and his Wife Robyn, this is just another story of a Hollywood marriage under the rocks. Records show that the couples were married in June 1980. Gibson met his future wife when she was a dental nurse. Reports have conducted from the "American Press" that Robyn the wife of Mel Gibson has filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage and several children. As the court paper states Robyn Gibson filed “irreconcilable differences.” She is also seeking joint physical and legal custody over their youngest son Thomas, who is nine years old. Robyn also is seeking spousal support and attorney’s fees. Mel’s reps have also been quoted on the actor’s behalf that throughout their marriage they have always strived to remain the privacy for their family. The couples have also been reported of being separated for the last three years. The separation date is a very key point in the courts for dividing assets. There also has been some speculation that Mel has been involved with another woman, which he denies. The couple had grown apart over these last few years more than ever after the drunk driving arrest in 2006 from Mel.
